celebrity deaths explained

Remember the popular t-shirt that popped up after Dale Earnhardt's death, the one stating that "God must have needed a good driver"? The same folks behind that are guiding us through the trauma of our recent rash of celebrity losses.

God must be creating a sitcom about a somber old working class hero and his bumbling but lovable sidekick. (Yeah, that's it.)

Episode one, "A Boy Named Sue"
Faced with a traditional-minded landlord (Norman Fell, 1924-1998) who will not allow two men to live together in his apartment complex, Cash disguises himself as a woman.

Episode two, "Ring of Fire"
Ritter decides to give Cash a birthday surprise by cooking a new chili recipe, but accidentally ends up burning their apartment down in the process.

Episode three, "I Walk the Line"
Groggy and driving home late from work, Ritter is mistakenly pulled over for a DUI.
